First, thank you to all who have served! And thank you too to all of those who are currently serving our country!
And then did you every wonder why Veterans Day is on the 11th? Well we have to go back a couple of years for the answer…..
Veterans Day has its origins at the end of World War I when at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the fighting ended with the signing of an armistice. U.S. Soldiers celebrate the armistice that ended World War I, Nov. 11, 1918.
So today, the 11th of November, say thank you to a veteran and let them know that their service is truly appreciated.
